How It Works

How Mosaic Exchange Works

Mosaic Exchange is designed to make creative work easier to discover, understand, support, and collect.

  1. Creators bring work to Mosaic.
That can include art, prints, objects, installations, media, music, commissions, performances, experiences, events, and other original creative work.
  2. Each offering is presented clearly.
Listings explain what the work is and what the buyer, collector, or participant receives.
  3. People discover and support creators.
Visitors can purchase available work and, as new formats are added, discover commissions, experiences, and other ways to participate.
  4. The creator is at the center of the exchange.
The creator receives the primary proceeds from their work, subject to the terms shown for that offering.
  5. Mosaic can strengthen the wider creator network.
Where a listing participates in a shared creator-support pool or other collective model, the applicable contribution and distribution rules will be stated clearly.

The idea is simple: when creative work succeeds, it should create more opportunity for creativity around it.
